Lake Ellesmere/Waihora. Drive along State Highway 75.
Shot on 120 B/W and Ektar.
I stopped at Seabridge Rd to photograph the old railway line first, then at a culvert with a pipe over it, leading to the lake a little further on. Next was Kaituna Quarry Reserve where I followed the path from the car park to the lake, which at first look was picturesque. Closer views and the lake was edged in foam. There was a dead bird carcass, some bones and a feather on the gravel.
