June 15th Azolla Rubra/ Returetu.

A tiny aquatic fern that lives in the wetlands. I took this sample from the swampy area near the viewing tower. I’ve also seen it in the cattle troughs and on the tap in the visitor car park area. It loves wet areas.

The first lumen is made with RC paper, the next 2 are Velox. The ferns/chickweed are dripping wet so the prints expose with lots of swamp water which seems to have changed their colours from the previous plants which were dry in comparison.
